1. Prepare a Windows 7 upgrade DVD (For models without DVD drive, please prepare an external DVD drive)
2. Backup all the personal data in the computer.
3. Use MSI Burn Recovery (on the desktop) to make VISTA-system-recovery DVD and burn a copy
4. From MSI official website, download the latest versions of BIOS (BIOS)/ EC(Firmware) / SCM(Utility) and drivers of
Windows 7

5. Update to the latest versions of BIOS(BIOS) and EC(Firmware) on the models

6. Connect to the Internet and put in Windows 7 upgrade DVD
7. Select “Check compatibility online”
8. Connect to the Microsoft web page and download the compatibility test program and install it.
9. Execute the test program after installation.
10. Record the drivers and programs which have compatibility problems.
11. Via “Add/Uninstall Programs” in Control Panel to remove the drivers, application software, and SCM which have compatibility problems
